The Process of Skin Aging

Skin appearance is a primary indicator of age。 In aged skin, collapsed fibroblasts produce low levels of collagen and high levels of collagen-degrading enzymes。 This imbalance advances the aging process in as self-perpetuating, never-ending deleterious cycle。

To meet great need of anti-aging preparation, we developed an Origincell Anti-aging Repair Cell Serum, containing multiple anti-aging ingredients such as HA, collagen, bioactive factors (growth factors and cytokines etc) and plant extracts.

The effect of MSC-derived bioactive factors on the growth of skin cells

(A ) MSC-derived bioactive factors dramatically enhanced the proliferation of human skin fibroblast cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner .
(B) MSC-derived bioactive factors dramatically enhanced the proliferation of human skin keratinocytes in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Data were shown as mean±SD and analyzed in comparison with the control group. ( two tailed student’s t test. *p <0.05; **p <0.01, ***p <0.001, n=5).

The effect of Platelet (PLT)-derived bioactive factors on the growth of skin cells

(A ) PLT-derived bioactive factors dramatically enhanced the proliferation of human skin fibroblast cells in a dose- and time-dependent manner .
(B) PLT-derived bioactive factors dramatically enhanced the proliferation of human skin keratinocytes in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Representative data were shown and analyzed in comparison with the control group. ( two tailed student’s t test. *p <0.05; **p <0.01, ***p <0.001, n=5).

Modified growth factors have more transdermal delivery

(A) Modified EGF (M-EGF) and modified bFGF (M-bFGF) have comparable biological activities with their counterparts in vitro cell-based assay.
(B) M-EGF and M-bFGF showed significantly improved transdermal permeability. Representative data were shown and analyzed with two tailed student’s t test. *p <0.05; **p <0.01, n=4, ns, no significant.

Modified growth factor increased the transdermal delivery of a secondary factor when simultaneously administrated

(A) M-EGF significantly enhanced the transdermal permeability of bFGF in a time dependent manner.
(B) M-bFGF significantly enhanced the transdermal permeability of EGF in a dose dependent manner. Mean±SD were presented (n=4) .Statistical analysis was performed by two-tailed student’s t test. ** p <0.01, *** p < 0.001.

When co-administrated, M-EGF and M-bFGF showed significantly improved wound healing activities than their counterparts。 Data were expressed as mean±SD, *p <0。05, n=5 (two tailed student’s t test)。 In addition, M-EGF and M-bFGF enhanced expression and production of collagen III in wound area。
